Art museum librarian, footballer (not the American kind), eater, and candlepin bowling aficionado. Active in and around Jackson Heights, Queens, NYC, where I live with my lovely wife Elaine. I am originally from Cape Cod, MA and went to school at Allegheny College in Meadville, PA, where I got a great education in the art department as a printmaker. I also hold a Master of Library Science from Queens College, City University of New York.

“If we seek to discriminate, if we start out to find that which is best in art, it will permeate the entire life and rule of action. We shall take on larger views and become tolerant, charitable, sympathetic, for we shall have learned that ‘there are more things, Horatio, between heaven and earth than are dreamed of in our philosophy.” — Squire J. Vickers

As in, the Lovely.

  1. Tim McEachern

Dan – stumbled across your McEachern gravesites in Nova Scotia when I typed McEachern into the search box on flickr. Strange results…

Anyway, quick family story, my wife and I honeymooned in NS 20 years ago – after hearing about the “Bishop” and the lost McEachern tribe from my slightly mis-informed father – we get off the ferry, start driving into town and there, on the corner, is this huge junk yard proudly bearing the family name.
